Senior Unity/C# Software Developer

This is a remote position. Lumen Dynamics is a global provider of end-to-end custom software development solutions to companies all over the globe, from North America to the EU to Israel to Australia. Headquartered in Estonia, we run offshore R&D centers in Kyiv and Lviv. Our team is 50% remote and distributed. We specialize in flexible interaction exclusively with international clients (we cover industries from commercial aviation to fintech) thanks to a multinational support group of experts and management. Currently, we are looking for a Senior Unity/C# Software Developer . ​ Project : Modernizing our three top-grossing Unity-based social casino mobile games. What responsibilities & tasks will wait for you? Your role would be to support all Technology teams with research and development; Your work will vary depending on the priorities and team requirements. Examples include: helping with Unity upgrades in the Product Engineering teams, developing editor tools, and researching potential new workflow improvement tools; You will be a Technical Special Operations Engineer who is skilled at investigating and solving problems. What skills/qualities are required: Strong, in-depth Unity knowledge with general technical knowledge across multiple technologies; Experience with Unity UI; Strong C# development and experience in other languages; Solid understanding of object-orientated programming, dependency injection frameworks, and presentation patterns (MVP, MVC, etc.); Experience and competence in writing reusable tools and scripts; Ability to easily learn, work and adapt to new problems and new technologies; Fluency in written and spoken business English Motivation, curiosity, and a genuine passion for solving difficult technical problems; Team player able to integrate with a wide range of personalities; X1 of the 6 roles will be working more closely with Art pipeline and require a slightly different skill-set: Deep knowledge of Unity data structures (prefabs, sprite atlases, etc.); Experience in optimizing prefabs, textures, and asset bundles; Experience of nested prefabs; Familiar with Unity best practices for assets. Would be a plus: Experience with mobile platforms (iOS, Android); Experience with multiple languages like C, Objective C, C++, Python, Java, etc.; Ability to work with scrum and agile.
